Chanterelles are one of the most memorable, desirable edible mushrooms that gained popularity thanks to their inclusion in French cuisine, most notably for royalty and nobility. Today, they’re still expensive but are much more attainable for the layperson than they were centuries past. Unlike Jack-o’-lantern and false Chanterelles, true Chanterelles don’t have gills. Instead their caps have random forks at the rims that taper down into folds, and they have a fruity aroma that’s reminiscent of apricots.
This one-of-a-kind, handmade mushroom hook will add a dash of whimsy and cottagecore vibes to any home. Each mushroom is lovingly crafted by hand, and coated in a thin layer of resin to protect the paint, prevent yellowing, and strengthen the polymer clay to lessen the chance of breakage.
