Plantpot Dapperling Mushroom Wall Hook

$75.00

Leucocoprinus birnbaumii

aka “Plantpot Dapperling” or “Flower Pot Parasol”

Poisonous

Region: Tropics and Subtropics

Even though L. birnbaumii is indigenous to tropical and subtropical regions, it can be found throughout the world due to humans collecting plants and soil from the tropics and carrying them to other regions of the world. Today, this plant can be found in greenhouses and indoor planters in the coldest of environments because of this unwitting transportation. It thrives on high humidity, moist soil, warm environments, and grows in tandem with plants in these environments. Though poisonous to humans, the Plantpot Dapperling isn’t harmful to plants and can act as a warning system for horticulturists. If these sulfur-yellow little guys keep cropping up, then the plant may have too much moisture and could suffer root rot.

This one-of-a-kind, handmade mushroom hook will add a dash of whimsy and cottagecore vibes to any home. Each mushroom is lovingly crafted by hand, and coated in a thin layer of resin to protect the paint, prevent yellowing, and strengthen the polymer clay to lessen the chance of breakage.

Materials: Aluminum, metal, polymer clay, acrylic paint, and UV resin.

Please allow 7-10 business days for item(s) to ship.
